Club of Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia and the Richmond Illustrators Club 2nd Annual Juried Show

Fan Works Design is pleased to announce Kevin's work (top right) was chosen to be in the IC's 14th Juried Exhibition, held at PEPCO's new Edison Place Art Gallery in downtown Washington, DC (between G and H Streets at Gallery Place Metro). The show runs May 8 – June 27.

Two pieces (right) were also shown at the Richmond Illustrators Club 2nd Annual Juried Show, held June 6 – 28 at Ghostprint Gallery (220 W. Broad St., Richmond, VA).

Fan Works Design and the Illustrators Club
Fan Works Design was honored to have four illustrations in the 13th Juried Exhibition of the Illustrators Club of Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. The exhibition showcased an encompassing range of styles and media from club members and illustrators working in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Fan Works Holiday Promotion
Receives National Design Award
(August 2004) –  Fan Works Design has received a national design award from HOW Magazine for its 2003 holiday promotion.

HOW Magazine is the premier publication for graphic design professionals and is known as the “trusted source for creative inspiration, business advice, and tools of the trade.” It sponsors three national design awards annually. 

Fan Works Design was honored with an award appearing in the HOW’s 17th Self-Promotion Design Annual. The Fan Works holiday promotion was a unique handcrafted fold-out album that was designed to hold photos and other mementos. The promotional album was created for Fan Works clients. 

“We’re delighted to be recognized by HOW Magazine which is one of the most respected forums for graphic design professionals,” Fan Works Partner Dawn Ripple McFadin said. 

The Fan Works design will be featured, along with other winners, in the October 2004 issue of HOW Magazine.
